Carefree Connections Self-Management Academy account alerts (coach notes and scheduled Zoom calls). Message frequency varies. Typically fewer than 10 texts per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not required to use the Academy.

Who texts you

Carefree Connections Self-Management Academy texts enrolled parents (and a student, only if a parent opts them in). We do not send marketing or ads.

Types of messages: a coach or family left a note; a Zoom call was scheduled. The note body stays in the app.

Message frequency varies. Typically fewer than 10 texts per month.

How you opt in

Create a parent account at Sign up (phone is for account contact only — that is not SMS consent).
Sign in → Settings → Notifications.
Check this box (it is off unless you check it):

Text me account alerts from Carefree Connections Academy (coach notes and scheduled calls). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of using the Academy.

Screenshot for carriers: the live checkbox is on Settings after sign-in. It is unchecked by default. You can use the Academy without texts.

STOP, HELP, START

STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE — we stop texts. Confirmation: “You have been unsubscribed from Carefree Connections Academy texts. You will not receive any more messages from this number.”
HELP, INFO — “Carefree Connections Academy: help@carefreeconnections.org or 904-584-2780. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply.”
START, YES, UNSTOP — opt back in (after you have already consented in Settings).

After you opt in we send: “Carefree Connections Academy: you're opted in for account alerts (coach notes and scheduled calls). Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to unsubscribe.”
